Kuna on hea asi seisma jäänud siis otsustasime oksjonile panna. Tegu on täiesti uue, pakendis kaubaga, mille karpi on vaid mõned korrad avatud, et asja väljanägemist uudistada.
Oksjonile lähevad ainult kõik 3 diffrit korraga (st. terve masina komplekt)!
Antud komplekt on mõeldud Kyosho-le!

More Steering, More Traction, More GRIP!

These differentials are a significant improvement over standard differentials and are available in front, centre and rear units.

BBF Tactyl II Light differentials have already proved their massive handling and laptime advantages during prototype stage by winning the 2004 and 2005 1/8 Off-Road European Championships!!

Functionality compared to other available differentials:

Regular 4-gear 'spider' differentials
These only have a fixed locking mechanism depending on the oil-viscosity used in the differential, regardless of either on-power or off-power situation. When thin oil is used, the wheels can spin free in corners (giving good grip) but as soon as one wheel is off the ground, all the power goes to that wheel and all acceleration/traction is lost immediately. When thick oil is used, the wheels cannot spin free in corners (less grip) but when a wheel is off the ground, a little bit of acceleration/traction is left.
Conclusion: Always a compromise between grip and acceleration/traction, and never the best of both!

Torsen differentials
They can shift power to the wheel which has the best traction. In this way Torsen differentials do offer good acceleration as long as both tyres are on the ground. However, as soon as one tyre is off the ground, a Torsen differential will give all power to that wheel (like a standard spider differential) and all acceleration/traction is lost. And as soon as there are small bumps on the track (like most rallycross tracks), very often one wheel is off the ground and traction is gone!
Conclusion: Never the perfect acceleration in off-road use!

TACTYL II LIGHT DIFFERENTIALS
The self-locking Tactyl II Light differential always provides maximum grip and acceleration/traction. Going through a corner off-power, the wheel spins completely free (as with a normal spider diff) so the tyres and suspension can provide maximum possible traction. This gives much better corner speed and more steering. When accelerating from very low rpm, the Tactyl II Light Differential mechanically self-locks, depending on the Torque Shell used (see below for Torque Shell explanation). Even if one wheel is off the ground, the Torque Shell transfers available power to the wheel which is on the ground, so the best possible acceleration is provided!
Conclusion: You always get the best possible grip in corners and the best possible acceleration/traction when on-power!!

TACTYL II Light diffs give you the advantage of a 4-gear spider diff and of a Torsen differential at the same time!!!

General Tuning Information
- There are 5 Torque Shells available that all fit front/centre/rear differentials and fit all the different makes of cars available
- The higher the Torque Shell rating, the more forward "locking power" you actually get (on-throttle power)
- The TACTYL II Light Front Differential comes with a 110 Torque Shell standard for maximum front traction and steering
- The TACTYL II Light Centre Differential comes with a 70 Torque Shell standard for a controlled power application to both front and rear
- The TACTYL II Light Rear Differential comes with a 30 Torque Shell standard for maximum rear grip and controlled acceleration
- These standard settings proved to be the optimum settings for both grass tracks and dirt tracks in Europe
- For high traction tracks when you can utilise more aggressive throttle input, moving to a 90 Torque Shell centre and 50 Torque Shell rear is recommended
- BBF supply a perfect blend of Differential Oil which is the only type used by the Race Team, although extra tuning is possible with regular diff oils
- These units are practically maintenance free as our top guys simply only refill the differential with oil every 2-3 meetings as normal maintenance

Recommended Configuration
- Tactyl II Light used in front and centre (minimum recommended configuration): the car is very easy to drive and follows the steering wheels
