Hello brothers
Last weekend we had the first round of Latvian indoor series. We are running in a small semi-heated indoor track with high grip onroad carpet and some relatively small temporary jumps, that are removed between runs. The track size is 25x12m and the layout changes for every race. Basically even if you are running buggy, then it's like touring, but with a few obstacles
Classes we run:
1/10 2WD mod buggy (7 participants in 1st round)
1/10 4WD mod buggy (17 participants in 1st round, it's quite competitive)
1/10 Standard - onroad with Tamiya TT01 chasis and 27T silver can motors (8 participants in 1st round)
Next race is on 2015-11-22, full calendar here.
Some pics and videos of the track here.
Most popular tires for buggies (both 2WD and 4WD) are Schumacher minipins (yellow) with some wear on them.
Address: Riga, Burtnieku 34.
Some results if you want to see who is running: 4WD, 2WD.
Special discount for our neighbours - only 7 Euros for 1 class, 3.5 Euros for each additional class.

Re: Latvian winter indoor series 15/16
Any tire restrictions for buggy classes? We have similar comp here and to keep the carpet in shape for on road we have to use slick or worn out off road tires. Usual hard compound pins (like chummi minipin) will hurt the carpet.

No restrictions on tires, any rubber tire on 2.2-2.4 inch buggy rims allowed. This will be the third season we're running buggies on carpet and we haven't noticed any problems yet, we have have a special PrimaGT racing carpet from UK, it's very thick and durable.
